I believe in process. I believe in four seasons. I believe that winter’s tough, but spring’s coming. I believe that there’s a growing season. And I think that you realize that in life, you grow. You get better. -Steve Southerland

The spring wakes us, nurtures us and revitalizes us. How often does your spring come? If you are a prisoner of the calendar, it comes once a year. If you are creating authentic power, it comes frequently, or very frequently. -Gary Zukav

Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come. -Robert H. Schuller

It’s a wise man who understands that every day is a new beginning, because boy, how many mistakes do you make in a day? I don’t know about you, but I make plenty. You can’t turn the clock back, so you have to look ahead. -Mel Gibson

The chief beauty about time is that you cannot waste it in advance. The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you, as perfect, as unspoiled, as if you had never wasted or misapplied a single moment in all your life. You an turn over a new leaf every hour if you choose. -Arnold Bennett

Letting there be room for not knowing is the most important thing of all. When there’s a big disappointment, we don’t know if that’s the end of the story. It may just be the beginning of a great adventure. Life is like that. We don’t know anything. We call something bad; we call it good. But really we just don’t know. -Pema Chödrön, When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times

We all want to break our orbits, float like a satellite gone wild in space, run the risk of disintegration. We all want to take our lives in our own hands and hurl them out among the stars. -David Bottoms

We grow up with such an idealistic view on how our life should be; love, friendships, a career or even the place we will live ~ only to age and realize none of it is what you expected & reality is a little disheartening, when you’ve reached that realization; you have learnt the gift of all, any new beginning can start now and if you want anything bad enough you’ll find the courage to pursue it with all you have. The past doesn’t have to be the future, stop making it so. – Nikki Rowe

“Blossom by blossom the spring begins.”

I am not having a vegetable garden this year, as my Hubby is creating a new one with easier access and easier to water, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything to see!

I live in the north, so my season is a bit behind other bloggers.

So enjoy this little garden stroll with me!

I almost missed the Crown Imperials; they bloomed while I was away on vacation.

I find it interesting that, in my garden at least, the tulips seem to bloom by color division, rather than color explosion.

The pink ones generally bloom first.

Then the red ones spring forth!
