Be My Valentine table runner by Cherry Guidry was a fun squirrel project to make!
I knew this table runner would be a great fit for my large cabinet!
Of course, one wouldn’t have to make it this big. One could sew just a couple of hearts for the size needed (my finished size turned out to be about 16.25″ x 63″).
The quilting doesn’t really show up on the back, not just because I haven’t washed this yet (for the texture), but because the backing that I chose is a busy print.
This project was a very enjoyable break away from the computer (genealogy, ya know)!
Cherry has a wonderful website called Cherry Blossoms…you might like to check it out!

Thanks, Sharon! None of that fabric is new. All from the stash and I am happy to use it! 🙂

LAURA!! This is so beautiful. What a fabulous runner. And made all from stash, too?! Win/win/win. It fits perfectly where you have it . . . perfectly. Love it! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

So pretty, and at that size you could use it for a bed runner for something different! Love your quilting Laura!

Great job on this runner! It is so nice to do something fun and break out of what we are concentrating hard on….for you the geneology project. The quilting you did is just perfect, too.

The runner is much nicer than most Valentine projects I’ve seen. But what is/why is it a squirrel?

A squirrel…a distraction from the projects that I am currently working on. Or call it procrastination. I am stumped on a project and easily distracted by more fun things. Ha, ha! 🙂

Thanks. Now I know what to call the ongoing distractions here 🙃
