I have spent considerable time immersed in genealogy the past couple of weeks.
I need to come up for air!
Now seems like a great time to make Pat Sloan’s pattern “Hello Luv”.
I am making a larger version…a table topper for my dining table.
There will be lots of bonus half-square triangles!
Cutting, pressing and squaring up!
Ready to sew into blocks!
I am going to sew those bonus half-square triangles into pinwheel blocks.
Quilt On!
The perfect project when you need a break from something else!

X’s and O’s and bonus pinnies! It sounds like the perfect little project, fun to do, and a good distraction.

I picked up a hatchet ruler at a LQS clearance sale and love it. Don’t think you used one because of all the bonus HSTs, but it’s a great tool if you like those blocks.

I do like these blocks; they are versatile and easy to make. 🙂
