Hubby and I took a much needed vacation (I was becoming really, really whiny) and visited our daughter and her family. What a joy to take a road trip and be blessed to see family!
Our daughter loves photography, so she and I just hung out and practiced together. Enjoy the stroll in her little garden!

Yes, folks, this is me…not ashamed to look silly. Ha, ha! Oh, yes…I do wear that hat in public!
And this is the result of my efforts!
It was breezy and I had such a tough time getting a photo of the bee on the lavender!
Don’t forget to get outside and see the little things!
Stay safe!
Funny, I am the same way. Love the picture of you ohotographing in the grass – what we do for art!

Thank you so much, Nanette! They say that practice makes perfect. Well…I do practice, but perfection just might be overrated. I try. 🙂

Sometimes you just have to get down to the right level for the best photo! All of the shots are amazing! I need to play with my DSLR more, and get comfortable with being out and about with it. Love the hat!

Yes…that hat does a great job of shading my eyes…and it made the grandkids laugh when they were small. 🙂
Thank you!

Hi Laura! The apple doesn’t fall far from the apple tree, does it?! It sounds like you both love photography and it’s a fabulous hobby you can share together. Your photos are always superb! ~smile~ Roseanne

My daughter is trying to build enough confidence to start a business. She is already doing quite well with her photography…way better than I am. She has a website now, so that is a step in the right direction. The Coast Guard is moving her family this summer, and she is thinking of getting her business started after the move. I know that she can do this, and so do others…she just needs to know it. 🙂
I don’t want a business. I do, however, want to be the best that I can be. Thanks!

Mother – Daughter Photographers…are you both also quilters?
This post was such a feel good post – because – you got to share time with your daughter doing things you both enjoy doing.
Very sweet.
I especially liked seeing you ‘in action’!!!!

Ha, ha! I don’t consider myself a photographer, and she doesn’t consider herself a quilter, but we both participate in both hobbies. She gives me photo tips and I give her quilting tips. It is a win-win (except for the physical distance between us).
I don’t normally post photos of myself (Hmmmm…have I ever?), but I thought that I ought to relax about that, and this was a fun photo that I did not know my daughter was taking at the time. 🙂
