Shamrock Finished!

“May the dreams you hold dearest be those which come true, and the kindness you spread keep returning to you.” — Irish blessing

Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!

Remember this project?

Shamrock Stem

I finished it up with a simple cross hatch using the walking foot, and it now resides on my dining table.

Shamrock Stem

Quilt On!

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand. -Irish Blessing

  1. Done for the holiday! Good job.

  2. This turned out really cute! Nice way to use up some scraps.

  3. What size is this fantastic finish? Looks like it is more than just a St.Paddy’s Day holiday table topper – which is great to be able to use it whenever you desire.
I, too, finished a 20×20 piece and am contemplating using it as a table topper. Mine was an experiment in use of negative space that became a successful piece in and of itself. So, I don’t want to just fold it up and put it away in some bin.
Us Laura’s are on a roll!

    • It can be used as a small wall hanging since it is about 38″ sq., Laura. Have I seen that 20 x20 piece…I don’t recall it? Is it in a blog post? It sounds unique!

Yes…we are on a roll! Keep it up, Girl! I finished another project today…just need to find time to take pictures and share. 🙂

  7. OH I really love the table runner – I have some shamrock fabric that I have had from years – if I remember I need to make something with it for a March finish – Hugs
