A Stroll in the Garden

One rose is enough for the dawn. -Edmond Jabes

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses. -Ziggy

The rose is a rose from the time it is a seed to the time it dies. Within it, at all times, it contains its whole potential. It seems to be constantly in the process of change: Yet at each state, at each moment, it is perfectly all right as it is. -Paulo Coelho

I want to encourage women to embrace their own uniqueness. Because just like a rose is beautiful, so is a sunflower, so is a peony. I mean, all flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that’s like women too.  -Miranda Kerr

  2. Oh wow! Your roses are just spectacular! That is exactly the color of peony that I want to have, just don’t know where to put it. Someday!

    • These particular roses are all mini roses, and they are doing nicely. The peony with the yellow center was a Mother’s Day gift from a young lady that I have known since she was a small child. I love peonies! They are so showy, and the leaves stay green all summer. I have white, red, soft pink, and fuschia peonies. I also have three tree peonies, but they’ve only bloomed once in all the years that I have had them. They came from a friend, who has since passed away. I need to do some research and figure out why they aren’t blooming.
