Last month, I took the Aunt Bea’s Parlor project out of the closet and added the borders.
The goal this month was to create a backing for it.
I don’t have a photo, but I already pieced the backing.
So I decided to have the pin-basting be this month’s goal.
That’s done, too.
Now my goal for June is to stitch in the ditch to stabilize the quilt sandwich.
I am linking up with Elm Street Quilts. Check it out and join other’s in setting your own goal for June! I find it inspiring and fun to visit bloggers and see what projects they are working on.
*To see all of the posts, and my completed embroidered blocks, simply put ‘Aunt Bea’s Parlor’ in the search bar of my blog.
So pretty Laura – hope mine turns out as good as yours. Are you hand quilting or machine quilting?

I am machine quilting on a domestic, Nanette. Other than stitch in the ditch to stabilize, I haven’t decided what to do.
And your version will be wonderful! 🙂

That sounds doable. Maybe you’ll even get it all finished.

I always try to keep my goals doable…don’t want to add more to an already full plate, but I do want to make progress! 🙂

Hi Laura! Oh these embroidery pieces are so cute. And the fabrics you’ve coupled them with are just the perfect touch. This will be such a fabulous quilt when you’ve got it all quilted. ~smile~ Roseanne

I don’t really mind basting, but I don’t like binding. LOL! Thanks Patty!
