Nisqually Wildlife Refuge

*Warning: Picture heavy post!

This will be my last post on what I did during vacation.  I had such a grand time with my family, and I appreciate them so much!

Our son and daughter-in-law took Hubby and I to another wonderful wildlife refuge.  I would come back again and again if I could!  This one is called the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge.  There is so much to explore, I barely touched the surface.  I wish I had better photos, but you will get the idea.  There were a lot of eagles, but they weren’t interested in a photo shoot.

Here is another link that shares about the refuge.

These last few photos Hubby took with his pocket camera.  There were so many waterfowl creatures, and plenty of bird watchers and better photographers than we out this day!

  1. Sounds like a great trip. I’m all about the wildlife except the geese. We have them EVERYWHERE here and they leave piles the size of a dog’s. Everywhere.

    • Ha, ha! Geese are everywhere here, too, but they tend to stay by the river. However, the turkeys are another story. Huge nuisance…they dig holes in my gardens and yes, leave piles. Everywhere. 🙂

    • They are cute little creatures, Margaret. Their parents were hissing at us…all we wanted to do was continue on our hike, but they didn’t want to share the trail. LOL! 🙂

    • The creeping crud is hanging on, Nanette. Nevertheless, life goes on.

I am glad that you are enjoying the pictures! Wish I was still there instead of back to work! 🙂
