Kitty Cushion

“Granddaughter, through you I see the future.
Through me, you’ll see the past.
In the present, we’ll love one another as long as these moments last.” – Unknown

This past weekend, I was blessed to have my son and his family visit.  The last time that they were able to visit was back in April.

Having my 10 year old granddaughter with me, meant that we could finish her cushion project that we began the last time that she was here.

You can see the beginning of it in this blog post.

A. chose the fabrics, threads, and the applique.  She also did most of the sewing (I helped a little bit with those eyes).  I simply encouraged her along.

She’s a happy little camper, and I am a proud Grandma!

  1. A young quilter is great! We need more of them. Cute pillow and she will remember the memories of making it always!

  2. Maybe the start of a lifetime interest in patchwork and quilting!

I love hearing from you!
