I was blessed to have my son, and his family, visit for their spring break. I had to work, but we managed some time together.
One of the things that we did, was to take a little walk around Old Marcus.
Every year, Lake Roosevelt is drawn down, and reveals the old site. One can see the crumbling town foundations that are normally under water.
My granddaughter has a little sewing project going when she visits.
The kitty will become a cushion, but it is slow progress since we don’t live close to each other.
The family has gone back home, and I have spent the morning making small design boards. This small project has been on my to-do list for a long time.
I used pieces of scrap foam core and batting to make mine.
They range from 9″ to 15″ square.
I used the tutorial from Bee in my Bonnet. These are useful little boards!
How cute! Love the kitty, and the boards! I’ve been wanting to make some of the design boards, but always there’s something pressing, so I forget. Maybe I’ll make some as gifts (and keep one for myself) for friends that I know would love it! 😊

I don’t know why it takes sooooo long to get around to making the simplest things. Ha, ha!
These would make nice gifts!
