Star Crossed Christmas Quilt Block
Thank you Chris!
How do I buy the pattern??
I have no pattern for this, Glee. I’m happy that you like it!
This is absolutely one of the prettiest blocks I’ve ever seen! I’d love to know the measurements on how to make the block. Will you share please?
Hi Annie! Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a lovely compliment!

It will take you to the blog post that features this block. I have no pattern, but you can draw the block on a grid to any size that you’d like.
How can I have a quilt made from this block?
Thank you for your inquiry, Sharon. I don’t make quilts for clients. I simply enjoy creating virtual designs and quiltmaking for personal use. There are experienced quiltmakers that can create lovely quilts from photos that inspire them. Some of these quiltmakers use my shared ideas as inspiration, however, I don’t know any that I can recommend to you.
I am making a king size quilt for our bed and keep an eye out for different blocks and absolutely love the Christmas block. I would love to use this one with your permission. It is gorgeous.
Of course you can use it! I am sure that king sized quilt will be spectacular!
Thank you for stopping by and commenting, Nanci!
Hi I’m new so I would love to have a pattern. I can’t just look and copy lol tysm
Debbie, I do not have a pattern for you. Here is what you can do: Draw a 12″ square (other size squares will work, too) and divide it into thirds (each square will measure 4″). This creates the basic nine-patch block. Next, draw diagonal lines, corner to corner, in four of the squares of your nine-patch. In the remaining five squares, draw lines dividing them into thirds, creating nine-patches. Color as desired. Congratulations! You have now drafted your very own block! Don’t forget to add 1/4″ seam allowances when you are cutting pieces from fabric!
Thank you Rika! 🙂

The most beautiful quilt block I have ever seen. Especially beautiful for Christmas. I just imagine all those little pieces and the time it would take to make it. Do you have the pattern that I could buy?
