It has been a busy summer, but I have made time to work on The Widow’s Mite. My original thought was to keep quilting minimal.
So much for my original thought.
I know the angle isn’t great for these photos. I’ll post better photos when she is finished. Almost there.

OMG………she is fantastic……it was so interesting watching her (your) progress!! I love the quilting…….with this type of project I don’t think it’s too much quilting! It actually needs what you’ve done!!

Evidently she did need the quilting because I couldn’t stop. LOL! I have a little more quilting to do, then bind her and put a label on her. Thank you for your compliment!

I found you from quiltvillechat, and I have to say, this piece just blows me away! It is so amazingly beautiful. I had to go back and look at the steps in your progression.. It is perfection and your quiliting just adds to the beauty.

Elaine, thank you so much for your kind words. I am always thinking that I could’ve done this better, or that better. Maybe I could, but each project is a learning step for the next, and overall, I am pleased with how she has turned out.
